I'll try what you suggest but confess that the refs.to mux & frequencies go over my head.
I clicked on C32 from your reply & a map popped up with an icon with hd on it,i hovered over it & it was the MOEL transmitter in i think Flintshire,winter Hill wasn't there.
Sometimes on a routine retune I get BBC1 & 2 & ITV in the Welsh versions.

I've gone through all the update details again,Channel 20 is back but picture is breaking up on the tv tuner & the youview tuner.Paramount also breaking up.
I didn't mention earlier that i had also lost around 30 channels on the youview box,thats happened before,when it does happen i lose channel 20 completely.Then for some reason the lost channels tune in again,strange!!.
The aerial looks ok from what i can see,it's 20 years old now ,maybe i should change it,i think i've probably done as much as i can,Looks like i'll have to get the aerial guy to check it out.

There are times when i have done a routine retune & i get BBC1,BBC2 &ITV in the Welsh versions.Not sure what that indicates except that maybe the signal for the BEEB stations is stronger from Moel than from Winter Hill.
