Sirs, I have been enjoying the daily hospital drama House MD. However, there is one puzzling problem. Why are all the scenes lit as though they were filmed on a foggy day in London Town? The internal and external scenes all seem to suffer from this. Particularly upsetting for me because I worked in a hospital for some time and I can tell you from my experience any hospital like that would be closed down in 2 hours. Is this once again the 'arty' people in the film industry deciding that common sense is unnecessary? The same people who imagine almost every scene should be accompanied by the noise of 10,000 dustbins banging together and the noise of metallic surfaces being scraped together? Who gives them the right and permission to ruin these otherwise splendid programmes
