Below are all of Judith Morris's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Well, guess what, just had the local T.V. engineer to look at my aerial - says there's nothing wrong with it and all I needed was a "splitter". Two visits (one to have a look at the problem & one to fix it). Cost me £25.00 !! Just shows how careful you have to be before you go ahead - ended up costing me a bit less than the £840 quoted by the first "Company".

We don't get Freeview in our area 'til Sept.2011 but thought I would ask an aerial fitter for a quote to relocate our existing aerial as we need it pointing towards Emley Moor Mast (unfortunately at present it points straight towards the roof of the building and, therefore, analogue t.v. is not available at the moment. Two men arrived and looked at the job. They have just sent me a quote for "Relocate TV aerial & mast to apex of building and run a 5 core coaxial cable to new location" £840.00
I nearly had a heart attack! Surely this can't be right?
