I have just had a new aerial installed and even though still pointing towards RoseheartyTransmitter, 8 miles away, I can now receive dozens more channels than before, as many as for Durris, and more than that stated. The aerial was only a cheap Argos wideband with a stated transmitting distance of approx 30 miles. Also it is vertical now instead of it being horizontal. Has anyone else had this boost with a new aerial?
