I'm a little confused. I have got the av sender plugged into the back of my sky box via a scart lead into the port which says VCR. The other scart point is on the sky box is from the tv to the sky box itself.
The av receiver is connected to my tv in the bedroom. It is set to the same channel as the sender in the living room, but when I put on the av channel on tv in the bedroom, the tv displays there is no signal.

Lol. Ok. This is the state of play because I'm not making myself understood very well.
1. The sender is connected to via scart to the sky box in the living room
2. The receiver is connected to the tv in the bedroom
3. The channel on the sender/ receiver are set to the same channel on each
4. the tv channel is set on its av channel
Everything is wired up correctly, and there is no signal.
What do I need to do differently to make this thing work?

Hi there.
I have a basic sky box ( not sky plus or HD), and I have been bought a tv with built in free view and DVD.
I was also bought a 5.8 GHz av sender/receiver as part of the gift; (so i could watch sky channels) but I've tried to set everything up, but the av sender/ receiver isn't working.
I contacted the customer helpline (TV) for set up difficulties, and was told by the advisor that the av sender/ receiver won't work on my tv because it has a digital tuner only, whereas the sky box only sends analogue signals so the sender won't work.
Is there anything I can do to combat this problem ?
I didn't really want /need a tv in my bedroom but liked the idea of watching sky channels there. It would be a shame that they both become unwanted gifts.
HELP!!
Thanks in advance.
