Dave Lindsay: I have a V+ box (2 scarts),an older Sony TV (3 Scarts no HD) and have just bought a new Panasonic DVD/VHS/Freeview+ box (DMR-EX99)(2 scarts) to replace my VHS box and DVD players.
How do I configure the various SCARTS together to a) copy VHS tapes onto DVD b)record from V+ live progammes onto my Panasonic box and DVDs and c) set up Freeview tv.
(We are thinking of giving up Virgin tv but want to try out Freeview first. There is nowhere near enough capacity on the V+ box for the shows I want to record plus because the V+ box does not distinguish between shows you end with 5 copies of a single episode if the channel runs it several times and the V+ HD soon fills up that way.)
Are there any settings I need to watch out for on the Panasonic box - the user guide is impenetrable?.
