interesting..... My house does have hybrid wiring with an amplified aerial so that could be it (which would be good as presumably it will go away when analogue disappears).
If it is the PVR I'll have to try as John suggests and try retuning with the SCART. I'll let you know how I get on....

same issue as Syd, no BBC channels, everything else ok though. Hopefully they will resolve the issue soon before the wife wants to watch eastenders...!

BBC ok now but NOT on my philips HDT8520. There must be some issue with that as all other tuners work fine.
I will let you know if/when I fix it....

still no joy from my philips HDT8520. I have logged a support call with them. I have tried using the scart instead of HDMI, no difference. It was working fine before switchover of lark stoke. In the interim april period I lost bbc channels and now I can't get anything at all. When I scan I get 65 channels but I can't view any of them. On the TV it is attached to (Finlux) I get everything but that doesn't record things. Hopefully philips will come up with something. Am I the only one with this problem....?

fixed it, had to reset to factory settings (did the 'reset' procedure first but that didn't work....) then rescan. Now getting over 80 channels.

Hello,
I have a Philips Digital Terrestrial Recorder HDT8520 high definition which is quite new and it isn't displaying the BBC channels from lark stoke. I have retuned it twice. My Finlux TV is working fine on it's own digital tuner as is are my other tv tuners. I can't see any known issues with this freeview box. Is this issue likely to go away on 20th April. I wonder if it's a similar issue to Syd Wall's posted Wednesday 6 April 2011 9:27AM...?
