How come I don't get all these from Brougher Mountain , and I live in Enniskillen. !

Hi Brian, I live on a high hill, could practically see the TX on a clear day !
Something tells me Brougher is TX'n this way on low power, or not Tx'n all the new stations it says it is.
I suppose that's what happens when one lives close to a border.......they don't want to annoy the Neighbours.

Brian, I did a manual tune and got 11D up, then a few station names appeared, but no sound, so I hooked up to my old FM aerial and bingo, all stations there.
Either the front end of my DAB radio is deaf or the TX at Brougher is at a LOW power for that block of stations.

OK Brian, I have done some several Rx tests and I have come to the conclusion, there is NO way Brougher is Tx at the said power (none BBC stations) to the Enniskillen area. I got perfect Rx around the Omagh and Dungannon areas no bother.
If you even look at the official radiation pattern on the map, it's obvious the powers that be (DTI) are deliberately holding back power so not to spill over the border, and in return Fermanagh loses out again !!

Would I be right in thinking, the BBC HD channels are not on Brougher i.e. BBC4 to vacillate RTE!
Or is there another reason?

Now that BBC3 HD has gone from our screens, will this be replaced with BBC4 HD from the Brougher Mountain TX ?

Forget about the TV (there's nothing on it anyway) lol, more to the point, will ALL the radio stations i.e. Magic etc be back on DAB when the switch over starts?
I was told they had been switched off because they interfered with RTE in the south!
