If you are a SKY subscriber and the equipment is over 12 months old, it is up to you to get the problem fixed. As BOTH boxes have a problem, I would suggest the problem is with your dish (may require re-alignment/new LNB) - although older Thomson/Grundig SKY boxes had bad power supplies which fail (usually with the loss of SOME channels, eventually giving a "No Sat signal being recieved" error message. these power supplies can be repaired (I've done a couple myself).
