jb38, thanks for the help, ive done the scan on ch68 as suggested, comes up with a signal but when I search that frequency, i dont think the signal is strong enough to pick them up

Aerial in loft. Cannot get ITV channels, channel 4 channels or channel 5 channels. Been going on for quite some time. Tried to re-tune automatically and manually. What else can I try or do I just have to wait until digital switchover as landlord suggested?
