Can I use a Freeview box if there is no SCART connector on my TThursday 15 December 2011 4:56PM

I would have thought so but the manufacturer has supplied a lead that is Antenna Out on the VCR/DVD to Antenna In on the TV. The main external aerial will then go direct to the VDR/DVD Antenna In socket.
There is a SCART socket free on the CCR/DVD but the TV Scart socket is occupied by the SKY receiver (bounced signal)-presumably the recorder is designed to work with the above leads.

I have an LG TV with a SKY facility through a "receiver and sender" system which bounces the signal from another room where the main set box is.
I am about to add a VCR/DVD recorder with FREEVIEW direct to my LG TV via the Antenna in/Antenna out sockets as recommended by the manufacturer (Toshiba).
Can I set up the FREEVIEW to be a different channel from my "bounced" SKY signal so that we can watch SKY on the main system and FREEVIEW on the LG?
