thank you for the feedback im lacking knowledge on this subject as you have proberbly noticed. Are you suggesting if i bought afreestat box and just connected in place of the french sat box i could recieve english tv without re positioning the dish as this would not be possible as we are just renting this apartment regards and thanks again for your help

im going to the south of france for 5weeks but the apartment only has fench satellite it can recieve cnn bbc news but not itv bbc etc can i connect my sky box to it and recieve english tv in other words use my sky box as a freeview box?
