Hi, My house is in Devizes, on flat ground and I generally have no problems with TV or mobile signals to the house. I have a DAB bedside radio. The reception is pretty poor for Wiltshire Radio but it will pick it up if the built in wire aerial is in a certain position. My problem is that occasionally the radio almost explodes with a sudden noise, then crackles until I turn it off. This is usually at night or very early in the morning. FM reception is fine. It makes one wonder what the point is of spending the extra money on a DAB radio when it the performance is not even as good as the FM it is replacing.
Can anyone make a suggestion? I am afraid the speakers will pop when the 'explosion' is so loud.
