Hi If you have a freeview TV that has be tuned in one town and you move house to another town does it have to be retuned?

GRUNDIG GULENAR 26HDIP FREEVIEW TV - COPY OF MY EMAIL TO GRUNDIG - Can you please tell me what to do here.
I have a Grundig GULENAR26HDIP Freeview TV Set where certain freeview channnels freeze.
I understood that if i left the TV on standby all night that the problem would be fixed in the form of some sort of software update that was released in 2011.
This has not cured the fault the tv freezes up as soon as an itv channel is selected & will not respond to anything at all until the power is fully turned off.
Can you please advise me on how to rectify this fault as it is spoiling a perfectly good TV.
I cannot use it like this,

I don't subscribe to Sky TV because it is overly expensive. On the News i hear stories about how the arts culture is struggling, Opera, Acting, Ballet Dancing etc. They want to find and promote new talent to save the Arts and make it available to all. (SKY TV DOESN'T SEE IT THAT WAY) At present you have Sky TV blocking ((Channel 129 Sky Arts 1)) and ((Channel 130 Sky Arts 2)). so that no one in the entire country can watch it unless they pay BskyB a fortune every month. That goes against the idea of promoting the arts and making it available to all, Simply because many people cannot afford to pay Sky TV. As far as i remember those two Arts channels used to belong to some other company and were free to view. QUESTION: Imagine i had a daughter who was learning to be an actress and could benefit from watching the Two Sky Arts Channels, can anyone tell me exactly what the minimum price would be per month i would have to pay BskyB, so that she could see these two channels?

I used to love Border TV and the programs they put on such as "The way we were" Even though i was not a supporter, i used to like the way they covered football teams such as Carlisle. I started to get to understand the team and kind of hoped they would win each week

What are the two posts above this one. It sounds like a marriage guidance class, not about TV? Or is it the usual scam rubbish, you write to them, they ask you for money and it ends up in some bank account in Nigeria

On UK Free TV Website i can't see how to start a new topic?
One question is, why is it with Sky HD and Sky plus boxes are people still getting Playback is not available or pause is not available and there is also the fact you cannot view recordings you already have recorded. I know you have to subscribe, but how is it that they block a person from using these functions. Is there a way of bypassing the circuitry? Another one that annoys me is: The sky cards you use are coloured white, if you take one from one box to another, all you get is "This is the wrong card for the set top box" Why is this? They are plastic cards with intergrated circuits mounted to them. What are you suposed to do about it. Is there a menu setting?

I would like to see and end to this overcharging for Sky TV in this Country. It is high time someone came up with a way to override the sky card so we could all watch it for free. They used to be able to do this - I don't know why it is so difficult to do. They should only charge for Sky Movies, Box Office and LIVE Sports. All the rest should be free to view. Paying out hundreds and even into the £1000 bracket per year per household is scandalous. As far as i am concerned it is just as bad as the phone hacking scandal and it wants to be stopped. People don't realise they are paying this as it comes out monthly from people's bank accounts and has a drain on the family finances all adding to debt. As far as i am concerned the Murdoch Empire gets none of my money as i can see straight through it. I wish everyone else could see it.
