I have 2 questions:-
1. Why doesn't the map on this web page not show the transmitter coverage. I was hoping to find 2 coverage maps, 1 for Analogue and one for Digital, but there's neither.
2. Will this transmitter be my best for terrestial digital TV after changeover ? I live at 14, Station Avenue, Inverkip, PA16 0BB

In the extreme SW of Portugal near Sagres, we normally get good reception of most channels, including BBC, but it needs very accurate alignment of the dish and a "good" decoder.
We have a 140 cm dish with a quad LNB serving 4 houses, a Pace DS430N Skybox and a White Sky Freesat card.
Last visit we lost Channel 4 and all its relatives, following a gale and had to get the dish realigned.
A Pace box which had given 5 years good service became intermittent in Portugal, but still works fine back in UK, hence my comment about needing a "good" decoder
A neighbour has a BBC freesat setup with a Humax HD recorder/decoder and that works fine.
Hope this helps.

Freesat on Freeview HD
Thursday 23 June 2011 5:13PM

I've just returned from a 3 week trip and found my BBC HD channels have disappeared from Freesat. I get "no signal" error message on Freesat BBC HD channels 108 and 109.
I can still get HD on Ch126 (4HD) and 209(NHK) and non-HD channels seem fine. I can't get Ch 119 ITV HD because I'm in Scotland and STV are still in the pre HD stone-age, not providing HD, but peevishly blocking it from other ITV regions.
I've got a Panasonic DMR-BS850 Freesat twin tuner HDR, equiv to a Sky HD+ box. I've tried reinstalling the channels and unplugging the HDR box as a reboot, but no improvement.
Any ideas ?

MIA: There's no UK Freeview available in Portugal.
UK Freesat is available even in extreme SW Portugal with a big dish, 1.5m minimum, 1.8 or larger if possible.
