I live on the far side of Blackheath from the CP tx and had perfect reception until last Sept when suddenly I couldn't receive a watchable signal on any of the channels on Mux1 (DTV Ch25) i.e. BBC One (London), BBC Two (England), BBC Three, CBBC & BBC News. After a lot of web-searching, inc looking into freesat, fiddling with the aerial (height is critical) and putting up with it eventually the quality returned to normal.
As of a week ago we are back to having exactly the same really poor reception - same channels, same Mux and same symptoms , i.e. can have either this Mux alone with just acceptable quality, or everything else with good stable pictures and sound. but not both.
I found a spare aerial (they are both Wolsey ColourKings) so now there are two on my 20ft pole, but even that's not great nor acceptable in the long-term.
Before you tell me to change the aerial, remember it performed perfectly for many years before this all started about six months ago.
