As of yesterday, all Freeviewchannelssave BBC One, BBC Two and the BBC News Channel have disappeared from both my Freeview-enabled televisions (SAMSUNG). My in-laws, who live two miles from me in Helensburgh, Argyll & Bute, have had the same thing happen to them on both their Freeview televisions (new model SONY and SAMSUNG). All the channels show 'no signal' when entered on the dial. However, the epg guide shows information/listings for all channels! As noted, all was A-OK until some point yesterday. I have two aerials in my loft. My downstairs neighbor, who has a new rooftop aerial, has a similar problem. My post code is G84 7DW. I am hesitant to retune with 'no signal' showing, as I feel I may wipe out all reception (including BBC). Is there a fault in coverage of the Helensburgh area (I would assume we're covered by the Rosneathtransmitter). Any help/information anyone could give would be appreciated - I feel I have fallen into a sixties timewarp with only three channels to view!
