I have actually just been looking round the site. and the TV that I bought specifically because of the switch over, which is HD-Ready with freeview, may not be a good enough model and i may need to buy a seperate set top box after all!!!
The model number listed is Sanyo CE32LD4-B, mine is CE32LD47-B, I presume they're the same, and if that's the case then it's a f*cking joke... I have bought new TV (well, over a year old...) with all the trimmings, to be told it's not good enough!!

Chris: My signal went off in the middle of 8 Out Of 10 Cats.... Been online desperately trying to find out wtf is going on...
As much as it is a ball ache to you - I am glad other people around Yorks (I'm in Leeds) are experiencing the same thing, and that I have not been singled out cos I cancelled my TV License direct debit cos they tried taking a payment out 3 times before it was due, resulting in me having to pay massive bank charges.... (I have applied for the pay point payment card, so I'm not trying to evade btw lol)
