Dave, thanks so much for your help. for the maual retune, i can go through each UHF channel and it does an automatic search for channels on each frequency. Through this i can see that I am definiately picking up blkachill channels rather than Craigkelly but it is saying 'no new channels found' when i go through each one, and isnt picking up anything on the frequency that either transmitter has BBC on. I cant see any LCNs in the 800s, but then that doesnt mean there arent any, its just I dont know where I am looking. I will try to catch a neighbour today to find out if its just me, and also do a complete wipe and start again. thanks for your help. the TV is a Panasonic Viera TX-L32E30B LED HD TV.

Hi Dave - thanks for the response. I know this might sound daft, but i dont know how to search manually for channels.. if I go into manual tuning it still does it automatically...
to give some further info, the signal seems a bit dodgy on some other channels as well (it goes pixelly and glitches sometimes) which is not something that used to happen either.
