Below are all of Paul's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.I have not notivcd any problems this week. Is all your equipment suffering the same probem? Can you try using a different aerial? Do any of your neighbours have the same probem?

Sometime a bad connection ( for example a broken cable or loose plug ) can cause loss of some frequencies while others work OK.

I noticed this week that ITV1 carries Meridian News ( South ), while ITV1+1 carries Central West News. This gives us a choice of nearby regions, which is useful.
If I recall correctly, not long ago ITV1+1 carried Meridian News ( South East ). News and weather for Kent and Sussex were not very useful.

This page is about Oxford, so I don't know why there's a question here about Malvern.
Anyway, regarding the problem with Malvern, can you email a TV shop in Worcester to see whether they have the same problem? The transmitter operators are more likely to believe reception reports from the trade than from the public.

I didn't know about the engineering work at Oxford. Perhaps that explains why Oxford local DAB has recently been alternating between normal full strength and about 50% strength.
Local DAB transmissions are not checked by the BBC's reception advice tool.

OK. Thanks. So Oxford local DAB should not be affected this week by the engineering work. We'll see what happens.

Thanks for correcting this, Briantist.
The text which I was trying to give as evidence was "My TV region
If you get your signal from the Oxford transmitter you are part of the Central ITV region but you will receive the ITV Meridian news service."
Thank you.
Paul.
