Every time it powers down, it loses the new ITV3 channel 10 after a manual scan of group 42. Even after selecting the option to not automatically power down, that does not appear to stop it doing so whenever it feels like it.
My local transmitter, Hannington, moved groups 41,44,47 to 40,43,46 on 18th April - which means that ALL channels on these groups are affected the same way.
Even BBC1 refused to start a recording this evening until I actually started watching the channel.
It is completely unreasonable to move these channels without consideration of all users. A basic freeview TV may be able to cope with a first-time installation reset, but such an operation on other equipment has much more drastic consequences.
The instruction manual for my PVR implies that first-time installation includes initialisation of the hard drive. The instructions on the TV screen tell you to do a first-time installation - without considering what sort of equipment you are using. That is fundamentally BAD advice.

StevensOnln1: I also lost ITV3 from my PVR tuner. Unplugging the aerial and rescanning sounds sensible, but unfortunately it didn't work. Doing a first-time installation (as advised on some web pages) on a PVR is not an option, as this will also initialise the hard drive. Any ideas ?
