G. Harris: It's called "Dog Squad" because it's about the sniffer dogs who work for UK Customs. I love this show but it's fair to say that most scenes feature the human personnel at work. Stick with it though because there really are some beautiful dogs to be seen.

I wonder how many people realise that this site has nothing whatsoever to do with Pick TV, or any other channel? This is a purely technical site explaining how to get and use free TV in the UK. It is no use for readers to complain about shows like 'Charmed' or 'Stargate Universe' as such comments will never be seen by programme makers. Anyway, on a lighter note, Happy New Year!

Interestingly enough, I get two movies4men channels via my Humax Freeview HD box right here in sunny Salford. It may be coming via Winter Hill but I'm not techy enough to know. The relevant channel numbers are 51 and 52. Hope you manage to access them, Barry, as they do occasionally get some very watchable films.

Aaargh! I retuned my Humax Freeview HD box yesterday to get Dave Ja Vu, and now I've lost both Movies4Men channels!

Phil Almond, and everyone else:
Glad to say I am now receiving both Movies4Men channels again on 51 and 52. Hope everyone else is, too! Hope this is the last of the required retunes for a good long time. By the way, my Humax Freeview HD box does an excellent job of reminding me when a retune is necessary, and handles the process automatically.

I'm in the Salford area, and you know what? Movies4Men is always doing this. Works fine for a couple of months, then vanishes for a week or two. Maybe it's something to do with the people who man the transmitters going on holiday or something as simple as that. My guess is normal service will be resumed next week. Until the next time. Probably Easter.

Well, I see Movies4Men 1 and 2 are back, as of last night. And just as the festive season ends. Maybe I was right when I suggested that the loss of these channels was down to engineers knocking off for their hols. I guess that means the channels will next disappear at Easter.

Hello, Brian. I was just wondering if you had any idea what channel or type of content is going to appear on Channel 45. Thanks in advance. Dave A.
