Seems like planned interference problems to me. Who ever thought this up of having these mobile phones on old TV frequencies wants their heads looking into. Would have better for us to have more TV progams in digital from them on Freeview.

Robin, if yes I bet you have to have a TV liecence for the boat as well as home.
I wonder if boaters and caravaners do?

Will the ordinary Joe Public know about this?
How many will go out and buy a new box because they think theirs is broken.
Or maybe call out an engineer to fix it.

If your box/TV accepts the change without a hitch, IE require a rescan or reset.

Yes mine is a Panasonic Freesat TV set.
Have done rescans they do not help.
Does it mean Freesat have to send some update out?
Or Panasonic to do a s/w update?
CH4 HD is ok.

Good how they got it to work on same number as SD, clever the Japanese. BBC, ITV and Ch4 all use two numbers, and confuse us.
