I agree; the BBC DOG is knocked back and therefore less intrusive but why is it there, the info button gives all the information required. The ITV DOGs are totally intrusive, take them off please I find myself subconsciously constantly reading the dog when it happens to line up with an artifact in the picture.

I take it you are not talking about Audio Description.
What do you mean by no sound output now?
Did it work originally or has it never worked in Ghana?
TV transmissions in Ghana are PAL B/G.
In the UK they are PAL I.
Therefore the sound system is possibly not compatible with the TV transmission standard in Ghana.
If this is the case modification MAY be possible but you will need to contact an engineer with experience in this field.

Yes Yesterday BBC 1 high signal strength but constant breakup. Found BBC 1 asigned to 62 perfect, there seems to be 2 of everything.

Same trouble here, it seems that (possibly on high ground only) 2 sets of most multiplexes are being picked up, the set/box is placing the wrong ones in the standard positions - 1,2,3 etc. have a look at all found channels, and then by punching in the number on the controller try the duplicates.
In my Mothers case I had originally had to put in a booster, on removal of the booster and re-tuning all stations ended up in the right place.

Stuart, try connecting your set directly to your aerial, do a retune and see if it then tunes to the correct mux. Once having done this you may find the correct channel has been selected, you should then be able to reconnect to your splitter. If it works you will then have to do the same thing with each connected device that has the problem.

Sammy: That should work fine, but you will require a Freeview box on each TV. The splitter only provides 6 correct aerial feeds, like having 6 aerials on your roof, nothing else.

35mm film is inherently better quality than 1080i digital video, think of the size of the picture at a main stream cinema, so virtually any feature shot on 35mm since 1950 and a lot before can, if a good print is available, be scanned to HD with excellent results.
Electronic cinema is currently just over 2000 pixels in width (2K), not a lot more than HD TV but not compressed to the same extent as transmitted HD TV. There is now a move to using 4000 pixel width in the cinema (4K).
Yes electronic media has probably caught up but I don't think Kodak will agree and there are other considerations.
