Multiplex COM6 on channel 28 missing. Postcode SO22 4QS.
I have recently lost channel 28 on my Freeview tuners; 3 x Integrated Panasonic TVs and 1 x Panasonic HDD Recorder. All other mulitplexes are OK; PSB1 (CH24), PSB2 (CH27), PSB3 (CH21), COM4 (CH25) and COM5 (CH22). All received channels have a Signal Quality of 10 (except CH25 which reports SQ=6 but still displays ok) and signal strength is consistently 9 or 10. I have tried numerous auto re-set and then a manual tune which returned No Signal on CH28.
I live high up with almost 'line of sight' (excepting for curvature of the earth) and 45km from Rowridgetransmitter on the IoW. The only slight issue is that my aerial has to be in the loft due to planning covenants. I further suspect my aerial may be a 'wideband' unit; 9 elements in the form of shallow Xs on their side and a 6 element (3 up / 3 dn) reflector. It should perhaps be an 18 element Group A Yagi? This doesn't really explain things as all other group A channels are fine.
Hope somebody can throw some light on this as I really would like to watch the Tour de France on ITV4 (which was fine in 2013).
