I have a Panasonic 37 inch Flat Screen TV and a Sony Recorder which is compatible and up till now I can receive and record ALL Freeview Channels.
However although I retuned my TV and Recorder to receive Channel 47 and I get a good picture on my TV.....When I try to record Channel 47 message comes up "This Channel Not In Service"
As stated I dont have this problem with any of the Channels except 47.
Can you help please ?

UPDATED RECORDER AND TV AGAIN BUT PROBLEM STILL EXISTS.

Thanks for getting back to me...Both these EPGs are working perfectly ON THE RECORDER as are all of the other channels.....ALL EXCEPT CHANNEL 47.
I Receive an excellent picture on my tv on all channels including channel 47..but cant record channel 47.
I have 3 other old tvs using a digi box...all receive channel 47...and one of them has a digibox with built in recorder which DOES record the channel.....But why is it that only channel 47 wont appear on the tv guide on my panasonic tv and Sony recorder ????

Thanks again for responding to my problem.
To Clarify ....Channel 47 picture and epg is fine on Panasonic TV.
however I cant get a picture for Channel 47 on the sony recorder....and although the epg shows channel 47 on the list of channels...no programmes are shown.
As stated all other channels on recorder are fine...it is only channel 47 that has no picture or epg programmes showing.

Thanks again.....I will try a factory re set and if that doesnt do it I will have to accept that the tuner may be defective.

Hello again......The bottom line is that EVERYTHING IS WORKING.
Perhaps I should use my age as an excuse (I am 70 years old).....but I tried everything to try and tune channel 47 into the Recorder...then as a last resort I went back again to the EASY SETUP OPTION....AND BINGO....this time it worked.
I felt that I had to let you know...as you have tried to help....Kind Regards Maurice Hayward

I CAN RECORD ALL FREEVIEW CHANNELS ON MY SONY HDD (My Tv is a Panasonic and compatible with my Sony Recorder)...However Although my TV and Recorder have been retuned to receive Channel 47 and I get a good picture on my TV...Channel 47 will not record on my HDD Recorder.
Can you help please ???
