Hi
Postcode LL57 3TA house No 9 aerial mounted 15 foot from the ground on the rear wall.
I am using the Bethesda transmitter and my next door neighbour also uses the same but he is using a old BBC2 aerial set horizontally not vertically and pointing away from the transmitter (which is in direct line of site)by about 45 degrees at the Quarry he also gets the additional 27 channels I set my aerial the same retuned my TV and got the additional channels but with only a poor signal strength 30%, mounted vertically pointing directly at transmitter which is about 1 mile away the best signal I can get is 66% (with or without the booster) and when the wind blows or there is the slightest bit of rain or mist I lose the signal completely but my neighbours signal stays strong. I have even bought a new high gain aerial, booster and low loss cable but I still lose the signal. Any advise would be very helpful as I am fed up of going up and down a ladder every time the weather changes.
Thank You.
