After a frustrating week (last) I reprogrammed using these steps today and all is right with the world again!
(in Hove/Brunswick area BN3)
One Note: We use the built-in digital on our Sony Bravia TV, and without any connection I could not view my EPG which is where the setup function is located... so I needed to begin the process of updating first, then unplug the aerialcable before it actually began in order to wipe the information. Apart from this, these steps worked a treat.
