Most modern TV's have a recorder built in, just plug a USB into a port and format it on the TV and you have a DVR .
USB sticks are relatively cheap around 20 to 30 for 256GB's if you shop around the internet, most of the time people don't know they can do it.

Can anyone tell me why the Moly Y Parc transmitter cannot broadcast Granada regional signals to the Wirral as the coastal area along the river Dee cannot pick up signals from any other transmitter?
After all the Storeton transmitter broadcasts the welsh service to the opposite bank of the Dee from the Granada region.
