Follow up to your point about Interleaved Frequencies, does this mean that BBC would be able to broadcast on a micro local level and how would that work in say London or Manchester? Will South East Londoners be able to get more localised news?
Do you know what the TV networks are doing to prevent illegal live streaming? I've read about techniques such as Digital fingerprinting and Digital watermarking but nothing as yet. Are BBC or ITV investing in these technologies to protect localised content?
cheers

Hi braintist
I got two technical-ish questions
1. Just wondering how local TV in the UK can get. Are all the transmitters in the uk able to transmit different programming? For example in Kent can someone in Dover get different BBC1 or ITV1 programming to someone in Ashford, Margate or Canterbury?
2. Are there plans for a smart version of freeview, similar to sky where you need an address or something so that TV can be localised more?
random questions I know, but cheers in advance
