I live in Rhos and I currently use a Skydish to receive TV because, when I first moved in, it was difficult to receive a good Freeviewsignal. However, since then the DigitalSwitchover has been completed in my area and I'm thinking of getting YouView from TalkTalk and they require that I have an aerial. I have a couple of questions:
1. From where I live, Wrexham-Rhos transmitter and Winter Hill transmitter are both in roughly the same direction so could I pick up both signals on the same aerial?
2. I live in a first floor flat with one other flat above me, the front of my flat is on the correct side to face the transmitter, could I put my aerial on the front of my building rather than the roof? Is the signal in my area known to be strong enough to use an indoor or window-mounted aerial?
3. What do you think of multi-directional aerials like the Philex Digidome? Do they work?

Hi,

However, since then the Digital Switchover has been completed in my area and I'm thinking of getting YouView from TalkTalk and they require that I have an aerial. I have a couple of questions:

3. What do you think of multi-directional aerials like the Philex Digidome? Do they work?
Thanks for any advice or help you can offer.
