mr roberts:
Check that the center wire at both ends of the cable has not broken or touching the outer screened cable.
If your cable goes thru the eves, check that squirrels etc have not damaged it.
Check that the connection from the cable into the aerial is not rusty.
Check that the aerial will not move. Also try using another TV to workout if it's your aerial or TV.

I got http://www.maplin.co.uk/camping-and-caravanning-satellite-suitcase-system-217921
from Maplins in Brighton 5 years ago.
The dish is only plastic and not metal so can move in high winds, but not too heavy for a caravan or tent.
Price has now gone up to £100 for the dish, LNB, cable and satellite receiver box.

Search Google, and check that it will work of a 12v battery if you don't have 240v mains.
You can get cheaper dishes and receiver box separate for less money.
This was a pre-freesat box, so only has a now and next program guide and not a 7 day TV guide. (RH163LB)

PS.
My box also dose NOT support the high-defination stations.
So do a Google search for "Mobile Satellite Systems".

If you know someone else who has a satellite system,
try your satellite receiver box in his home with his dish and his box with your dish.
If your box works on his dish, then your box is OK and there may be a fault with the dish or cable.

Don't know whar error 29 is.
What signal level dose it display in the settings menu?

Over 90% of transmitters won't transmit the full service.
Some won't even get Channel 5 until 2013.
I know how you fill. That's why I use satellite.
But some of the free channels on Freeview that you can't get are subscription on satellite. :o(

First check if the wind has moved your dish.
Check that the dish cable is pluged into the box and the center wire is not broken or touching the outer wire.
If you know someone else with a satelite receiver, try his box with your dish and your box with dish.
If his satelite box dose not work with your dish then;
the dish has moved, there is a break or short circuit in the cable or the LNB on the dish is not working.
