I thought I had done something wrong (I'm not very technical!) or my recorder was broken. I only noticed the problem this morning. I hope Sony get it sorted ASAP, it's very frustrating!

I'm in Northern Ireland,BT21 0AZ. I have a Sony RDR-HXD870. Exact same problems as Helga, John & Colin. Disconnected everything and re-tuned, didn't fix the problem. Recorder has now being trying an automatic update for almost 3 hours (updates usually take approx 20 mins). Does anyone know what is happening?
