I would find it strange for them to invest in the introduction of VP to only give HP more channels.
Especially as all new aerial installs are being fitted with VP rather than HP.

HELP
there seems to be conflicting information on different sites
New HD services com7 and com8
Are they going to only be on Rowridge HP or both HP and VP????
As all new installs are being fitted on VP and some old installs being changed from HP to VP due to its far superior reception, it is a bit of a concern that they would not include the new HD channels on VP even with it being outputted at a rubbish strength.

Paul Wharton:
When you tuned your new tv it would have given you the option to either tune Freeview or both Freeview and analogue.
If you tuned both then I would suggest putting your tv on Freeview BBC1, then press the program down button once, this should take you onto analogue 1 where your sky should have tuned to. This does depend on the make of tv that you have. Some TV's will put the analogue channel onto program number 901.

You seem to have issues with UHF 27.
Are all other channels working without issue??
Are you having the same issue on multiple tvs?
What is your postcode?
Where is you aerial mounted?
Generally Emsworth has very good reception ( I am local to you)
Your issue is likely to be some part of the system or your tv as the transmitter is working fine.

what is your location? postcode?
to have lost complete reception you have problems.
Even an awful signal would pick up some sort of service.
You need to re check every connection and try not to use a booster.

Rossie:
You either have an issue with the aerial or the location where it splits to the 2 rooms.

Yes you can.
Freesat runs on satellite Astra exactly the same as Sky does.
A single cable will run a non recording HD or SD freesat or sky receiver
A twin cable will run a recording HD or SD freesat or sky receiver
Ditch sky and get your freesat boxes connected
easy peasy
:)
