Speak to neighbours to double check then to your property manager.

Small Dog: Can you explain what's stopping you from calling in an engineer to sort it out?
And yeah you're right it's all a big conspiracy so that everyone gets a satellite dish and receiver and pays for Freesat, whoops, you don't have to pay any subscription fees for that, silly me!
If you don't understand something, then ask for a simpler explanation, it's hardly rocket surgery.

Small Dog: Try putting your postcode into Home | Get Me Digital - I did it for a Oxford postcode and got quite a few results.

dms05: Well if you want to pick up West Kirby, you should check UHF channels 27, 24 and 21 to see what their signal is like, and use those instead of MyP for your PSB channels.

James: Curious as to what sort of aerial does your mother have, given that group C/D aerials should work down to channel 48?
The reason the BBC channel was moved to 50 was so that it would still be in the range of a group C/D aerial, so if your mother has a faulty aerial then no one is responsible for fixing it!

D Matthews: I think this freeview is great, I turn it on in the morning to get all channels, and haven't had to retune since I bought my TV last year.
Maybe if you provide some more information, like your TV make/model, whether you neighbours are having problems and what UHF channel numbers you are tuned in to then you might get some free help on this site. (51.1,-1.116667)

Clare McNeil: As per at800's website - if the filter doesn't work you would be provided with other means of watching TV (freesat).
If you are worried about whether it will affect you, then you should just wait and see what happens in mid-May. If you do get interference, then connect the filter as directed, and if that doesn't work then get in touch with at800. If it works or you don't get any interference in the first place, then happy days!
Lots of ifs :).

Clare McNeil: For some reason half of my post was cut off!
I would suggest you just wait and see what happens around mid-May with regards interference, that way you can see if the filter makes any difference and if not, then get in touch with at800.

Brian: Oh yeah they turn the signal down just for a laugh... NOT.
So if all of your boxes have stopped working for the past few weeks, and if they are all connected to the same aerial - don't you think there is a common problem there? Maybe your splitter/amplifier or aerial has a problem.
Of course it could be the transmitter, but a quick check with a neighbour who has Freeview would discount that.
A bit strange though to spend money on a satellite dish and then ask on a website for help, instead of getting an aerial installer out to help you!
