I have read with interest comments about the signal strength from Sutton Coldfieldtransmitter after DSO, particularly Jack who lives about a mile from Me in B34.
I am using a 12 element contract style aerial on a 2mtr mast on the chimney which i errected in 2003. Before DSO I was getting 60dBV at the aerial with the SLX meter. After DSO I am still getting the same figure. I don't understand why I see no increase in signal strength. Can anyone explain why? My location is less than 10 miles from Sutton Coldfield transmitter.
