thanks for that I decided to fit it anyway as the children are here this weekend.
works fine have all the free view channels that I had before my controller packed up and many more. with the exception of Dave etc, but thats no great loss.
all works so will now just get receivers for the bed rooms to stop the rows.
kids are captivated by the wrestling from the 70s on at present.

I have just removed a sky plus system from a clients house and wonder can I fit it to my house and receive free sat or the like without having to register with sky. I have the view card that was prev being used and subscribed to.
or would it be best to just get free sat box or boxes and use the dish. it having 4 cable connections on head.
