Weirdly - I had to turn the booster back ON to get any channels in all the other roms (There are 4 other rooms with TV's tho most arent used really) The living room has Pick TV - My daughters room doesn't have it any more in the listings, it went mising a while ago and still hasn't returned. My bedroom has pick TV but it is on channel 839 I think it was and just says no signal. My 2 sons - one has some weird remote that has run outta batteries and the other son is in bed - LOL.
I guess I will see what I am left with in a couple of weeks. Sorry to be such a pain everybody :-(

Hope Pick TV sorts itself out - since this 'update' I am unable to watch it on my Tv at all as it continually pixellates and is unwatchable (It was onk yesty with a few pixellations) luckily I have found an online way to watch biggest loser... Shame tho Pick TV is one of the few channels i actually wanna watch - all other channels are OK tho so manybe it's something simple ( i hope)

I hope tyomorrows rescan sorts the problems out - I found a new channel for me - ch20 'really' which I enjoyed - so this morning I seem to have lost both picktv and really - So I am praying that tomorrow all will be sorted as this is very annoying LOL
I am hoping that I wont be here tomorrow moaning that I have lost everything and wanting to throw the freeview boxes out of the window!
Last time the helpline of my freeview box helped me to do a 'factory something or other reset' and it wa sfab and all was well.. for a while... but - Tomorrow is another day so I pray that all will be well and thank you for all your kind help.

Well..... Rescanned box1 - for the first time ever on picktv I saw the signal level bar pop into green! it is mostly in yellow but keeps jumping into green then back again but the signal quality bar is at about 80% up in green.
I wish the actual signal one would stay in green also... especially being so close to bluebell hil.
I am hoping that maybe later it will all be well and i dont care what colour the levels are if i dont get loss of sound and pixellation and complete loss of signal any more
here's praying!

Thus far today I have had NO loss of sound and NO pixellation (bar when a helicopter was right over the roof but it soon went lol)
The signal strength is at maybe 40% and the signal quality is in green at about 90%! The signalk strength keeps jumping into green and down again, but the actual quality of the signal is so much better - cars can go by without affecting the signal - which is FAB!
All channels are much more the same on strength and quality now - Which is good - To finally be able to not have freezing pictures and loss of sound and that horrid squeeeeeak and then loss of sound is great to have gone!
OOOOH channel 12 has green at about 80-85% on both strength and quality - thats the first time ive seen that
I am very not technically advanced - And i freak out all the time, basically as nobody around me can help me if i have problems...

Yes - everything seems much much better (fab signal on ch12 that i dont ever watch LOL
It is a much more reliable signal and I havent noticed every time a car goes by by loss of sound etc - which is fab also...
Apart from this afternoon (and quite a few afternoons recently) it deciding to force a rescan at exactly 3pm (when i am out and trying to tape biggest loser) so I get to tape 30mins of utter nothing. I pray that stops cos it drives me NUTSO...

I found something called retune messages and turned that OFF - So hopefully that will sort it out when it harrasses me at 3pm for retune...
I know when winter comes and the trees are leafless I usually get better signal as I am in a very lefy area....

They must be fiddling with the transmitter or something as suddenly even ITV is having pixxelating.
I dont beieve we are getting 20 wossit (megs?) of transmitter thingy - As maybe on Day1 - But since then it has steadily gone downhill.
Oh well... I guess at least i can see the tv which is a plus (I guess they will sort it out in the end - Its not like they've had years to sort it 'sarccccc')

Nope - I reckon they have turned the signal strength down or something as on the switchover day it was fab - Today its just as bad as it was before they supposedly upped the sinal - Grrrr. Oh well I'll hafta put up with it cos I dont have anyone to fix anything - It was just so lovely on 27th, and now it's back to where it was before where i know every time a car goes by

So - I rescanned... All seemed OK - But Pick TV is still pixellating :-( I was so hoping that it would be better - Seems OK thus far on other channels though... To be honest I thin kPick TV s probably worse (though I don't use TV in the mornings normally - But looking at it now, it's worse. Which is horrid cos I have nobody to turn to to know how to sort it out - Am disabled and stresed out now :-( )
I hope it will be better later or something. Signal is showing green, I guess I should go to other channels and check whatever :-( Why does it always hafta be Pick TV that does this.
Oh - It just hit me that only BBC channels went over (slaps self) At least I can still pray that after the next one things might be OK..... *Fingers crossed*
