Are you wanting to watch Channel 5 in Ireland on Sky? | KnowledThursday 20 November 2014 9:33AM

Mike Buttriss:
All,
Thanks for tips on resolving the problem. I'll try attenuating the signal coming in to the distribution amp down by 25 % and see what happens. Makes sense on the ducting around areas of trees at different frequencies. Perhaps a chain saw would sort that bit out. Thanks again.
Mike

Hi,
Glitching on BBC programs only;
I receive my signals from Caradon Hill Tx. through a high gain aerial with mast amplifier as I am located in a valley. This fed to a distribution amp a Labgear HDU681 an 8 way unit. RF out from Sky is fed to the Uplink side of the HDU681. No Satellite signals are fed through the unit which is switched to UHF. RF out from SKY unit is set to Ch68 well away from received signal frequencies. BBC1 and BBC2 occasionally glitch, pixilation of picture / freezing. It does not happen on other channels at all.
Signal strength is good showing 90 % on the TV signal strength, and we are using on that TV a flooded coax cable feed. Other TVs in the house also glitch on BBC channels fed by standard coax cable via standard wall plate /cables. Why on only BBC channels does it happen?
