jb38:yes I had thought that it could be something like that as I live high up and can actualy see winter hill and over to wales.Since my first post I have replaced my aerialcable as I found water had penetrated the outer cover and had reached the connection at the TV! I carried out a 'reset' in the day time yesterday which picked up welsh programs and winter hill programs. On doing another reset last night [in desperation] I now only pick winterhill programs and all is now OK !!
