My aerial is mounted on the roof pointing towards Darvel (20.8 miles from here ,unlike every other aerial in the street who are pointed towards Blackhill-13.2 miles from here)this was done about 5years ago by a "t.v. engineer"???? to reduce a problem at the time of ghosting on two channels.With the vast array of aerials on the market I am not sure that t.v. engineer wil fit the most advantageous one for me.

At the moment I have one flat screen television operated through Sky.I also have 2 televisions in other rooms using a roof aerial with the signal boosted to these points and was using a freeview box to whatever t.v. was being watched at the time.My problem is that a "no signal " message is coming up on whatever t.v.I try to use with the freeview box,to cut a long story short I have traced the fault to the roof aerial but I am not sure which type of aerial I need fitted. I would be grateful for any suggestions.Bob McAteer
