We used to have the old analogue aerial which was connected to a distributor in the loft and the individual cables to aerial sockets in each room. We have since had Freesat installed in the lounge and have a 4 way PNR on the dish to connect 2 cables to the Freesat box, we have another sky box in the bedroom and another cable to that and the same in the kitchen. However we now need a signal to another bedroom. Are we not able to connect the freesat or sky box to the distributor in the loft as get signals on the separate TV's in each room through the aerial sockets as before to save having to have a separate skybox or freesat box in each room?? We dont mind that you can only watch the same channel in each room as the freesat box is set to.

Hi jb38,
Thanks for your reply. We dont use the old analogue aerial, the signal now comes through the satellite dish. But I wanted to know if we are able to put a cable feed from the sky box into a distributor in the loft which feeds cables into each of the rooms (into an aerial socket) and plug the tv in the others rooms into the aerial socket - will it pick up the picture from the sky box thats plugged into the distributor - or will it not work that way?
