Eutelsat 28A (Eurobird) will soon be relieved of it's duties by Astra E, F and G.
Some transponder moves have already occurred as indicated in the NITs of the two DVB networks at 28.2E.

So they are more or less back where they came from.
27500 x 2/3 = 22000 x 5/6 so the same capacity, but 5/6 needs a higher S/N

Linda: I agree with jb38.
You said "I wonder is there a problem because This Morning is in two parts, separated by the 11am news!!!".
There are others like that you can try, for example:
Wed 01 Jul 2015 21:00 - 22:05
Title The Last Stand
Channel 030 5*
crid = /V6HJF#1, Type : 31 (item)
eventID = BB20, 770 MHz, uhf 58
second half, after "Access", is
Wed 01 Jul 2015 22:10 - 23:10
Title The Last Stand
Channel 030 5*
crid = /V6HJF#1, Type : 31 (item)
eventID = BB22, 770 MHz, uhf 58

Brian, I feel your pain. Your health is the only important consideration. Hope things get better soon for you.

Interesting that "The Last Stand" is not split in the Sky EPG

jb38: Thanks. I take it that "programme" (item) rather than "series" record works, although to be sure we will have to wait and see.
With regard to having to select both parts see:
http://www.nordig.org/pdf….pdf
"
11.3 Split Recording Usage Example
It is possible to split a programme (a movie, sport events etc) into several parts and still signalize that they all belong to same PVR programme event. This split could be for example due to a slightly longer news break in a movie or that the programme has to be continued on another service.
As long as all programme parts of a split programme has:
- same programme CRID,
- all includes an Instance Metadata Identifier (IMI) extension and
- the gap is less than 3 hours
The NorDig PVR is required to record all parts, after the user has programmed any of the parts to be recorded. (The NorDig PVR is supposed to merge these parts as one and the same record entity for the user in its list of recordings)
...
Source: DTG D-Book 6.2.1 and NorDig Unified Specification
"
That a programme is split is signalled by a "#" character terminating the item CRID.
"CRID is terminated by a "#" character which is followed immediately by the IMI" - ETSI TS 102 323 V1.5.1 (2012-01)
I put some code in my EIT parser to dump a list of all split programmes.
"This Morning" is the only TV programme at present which is both split and has series CRIDs

There is no change to the FreesatHome transponder in the Freesat NIT
The FreesatHome transponder is unique:
-the basis of the Freesat Network
-not included in the ASTRA Network
-has (or had) an Orbital Position of 28.5 degrees East
Blind-scan shows the frequency is now 11426.50 MHz
This is what I had expected to see:
11427.83 H 27500 2/3 DVB-S QPSK 028.5E :TSID = 2315 --> 11426.50 H 27500 2/3 DVB-S QPSK 028.2E :TSID = 2315
Where are the ASTRA-Diffs?

jb38: Thanks for the update.
Films on five are often split, but, being films, don't have series CRIDs. There would be no end of complaints if only the first part of a film recorded.
As noted previously, "This Morning" is unique in also having series CRIDs.
Were your test recordings of "This Morning" "series" or "programme" records?
I agree with your advice to Linda. A clean machine tuned to the correct frequencies, and no others, is essential.

Recently FTA "TV5 MONDE", Sky channel 796, is worth a mention.
Sky info: "French language channel with films, drama, live news and sport, music, travel, kids TV & much more. A bit of France chez vous."
Shows modern and classic French films with English teletext subtitles on page 892.
Not on Freesat. Found here:
