I am not clear. Who can and cannot receive the LBN channels form Whitehawk Hill?
You mention Saltdean. If someone living in Saltdean can receive signals from the Saltdean and Whitehawk Hill transmitter,s then what is the significance of Channel 54? - Would it be determined simply by signal strength. The maximum strength prevailing, hence eliminating the other

I can see that the LBN from Whitehawk Hill is only 400Watts, so I assume that this is why it has so short a range.
Channel 54 from Saltdean has only 40 Watts available which I assume accounts for its range.

Yes, I see.
The radiation is biased towards the East, and this is due to the characteristics of the transmitting aerial. It looks like different aerials are used for different mux's (transmitting at different power) - probably not like my Yaggi broadband aerial.

Isn't channel 54 from the the Saltdean transmitter?
I can't receive any of the LBN channels?
