Many thanks Mike, am back in the UK at the moment. Will measure the dish when back out end of January, but am assuming dish is sufficient. It certainly looks 1.8 m or bigger. I just assumed it was lined up so the more probable cause is that it is not lined up properly. We are towards the Mijas Pueblo area.

We have recently bought a villa in the Costa del Sol. I was led to believe that i could get freesat British tv. There is a dish on the roof and all cables appear to be present. I bought a skybox and a sky card ( the card i was led to believe was needed only for freesat tv) But nothing appears to work. I just get the message that there is no satelite signal? Have tried rebooting but to no avail. Any ideas?
