Hi there. I currently have a SKY+ subscription and 1 multi-room package. I cant pick up freeview in my area and would like to get free to air channels in rooms upstairs. I have changed the LNB for something with more connections, I have run the leads to the rooms and fitted the points (im a sparky, so no probs with the connections). I have got a couple of standard boxes off ebay, but neither are picking up a signal. I have tested both boxes downstairs and they are fine.
Do they need cards or do i need to ring Sky for permission, or what other problems could this be caused by?
I really dont want to spend anymore time or money on this problem, so some expert advice would be much appreciated....Thanks in advance. Nick
