But from your answers it is nowhere as easy as he suggests. I'm meeting him in the next few days.

Hi.
I've just moved into a newly built house and there are TV aerial points in 6 rooms. These sockets have been wired in series ie. the first socket is connected to the second, which is connected to the third and so on. This means that there is only one cable in the attic to connect to the aerial. I have tried connecting an aerial to this cable and cannot get any TV set to work.
I think that this has been connected incorrectly and will not work.
Can it be made to work?
It would be much easier than changing the set up by giving each socket its own cable leading to the attic and then connected to a six point booster, which I believe is the correct way to connect the sockets.
I would appreciate advice.
