Moon - Freesat and Freeview are two different platforms. Freesat uses a Satellite signal, hence you need a dish, and freeview uses a terrestrial signal and thats what your TV Aerial/Antenna is used for. You cannot combine either

David Messer: Channels can disappear for a number of reasons. In my experience it is often a reception problem. This can be due to water in the aerial or water in the cable or interference from Tree growth. Did the loss happen over time or almost immediately?

With Kendal TV Repeater or Relay being just outside of the town, TV reception in Kendal is very strong, and has little interference in my experience.

Hi Brian, As a future topic to write about, I'd like to hear more on the use of terrestrial TV antennas to broadcast the internet by using the 'white space' in between the TV channels. I first became aware of this being used in the Isle of Wight and hoped that this efficient use of existing infrastructure, would head are way to the rest of the UK.
