I have replaced my Skydigital box with a Sky + HD box, and now use my old Sky digital box in a bedroom WITHOUT a Sky card, but still connected to the same Sky dish via an Octo (8 way) LNB connector on my Sky dish. This way, it acts as a freesat box and I get all the free to air programmes without a subscription and without forking out for a new Freesat box. If you have an old Sky digital box, try it!! All the rooms in my house that have an arial socket are connected to the Sky dish, so that if I wanted to, I could put a tele in whichever room I wanted to and get a freesat service, either with an old Sky box or a Freesat box. Don't pay for a 'Freesat from Sky' card until you've tried this!
