Tyson: I must say that I tend to agree that not enough information has been given to the general public. OFCOM did estimate that 100,000 people in Greater Manchester might lose service. I'm a techy who was able to just buy a high gain T-Band Aerial for 20 and install it in my loft in 30 minutes, but what about the pensioner living alone? Yes, anyone who loses service can have a free replacement, but the "let's see what we can get away with" sort of approach is a sad reflection on our society.

I lost BBC1 & 2 on Thursday 20th February 20 because I had an old narrowband aerial from the analogue days which just happens to be totally "blind" on channel 32, the BBC A mux. I fitted a new wideband aerial today and problem is 100% fixed.
